KID'S SIZE GUIDE

Below you will find the body measurements that we use. Most of our product is available in single sizes, this means the sizes increase at an interval of 1 year i.e 7-8, 8-9, 9-10, 10-11 and so on. If you are buying jumpers and cardigans please use the dual size table. This means the sizes increase at intervals of 2 years in the older sizes. i.e 9-10, 11-12, 13-14. If you are buying trousers or blazers, the size guide states length of the product, not the body measurement.

MEASURING GUIDE

Do you know their shoe size? Check their measurements to see if they are a standard, wide or narrow fitting.

Length

Step 1

Tape a piece of paper to the floor, making sure it is on a hard, flat surface. Place your child’s foot on the paper, with their heel at the bottom edge.

Step 2

Draw around the top of their foot with a pen or pencil. Repeat for the other foot, as they could measure differently.

Step 3

Measure the lengths from heel to toe for both feet. Compare the measurements to our size chart.

Width

Step 1

Ensure your child is standing up straight and distributing their weight evenly on their feet.

Step 2

Wrap a measuring tape around the widest part of their foot – for most people, this will be at the joint, which is located just before the toes.

Step 3

Make sure the tape is not slack but also not too tight. Take the measurement and compare it to our size chart below.

MEASURING ADVICE

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes.

  1. Height

With bare feet together, measure the top of the head to the floor.

  2. Neck

Measure around the base of the neck where the collar touches the skin.

  3. Chest

Measure the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the arms.

  4. Waist

    Measure around the natural waistline.

  5. Hips

With the feet together measure around fullest part.

  6. Inside leg

In bare feet, take the measurement from the top of the inside leg and measure down the inside leg to the floor.
